About this project

Van Duifhuizen Terrazzo from Wijchen is a family business with more than 25 years of experience in terrazzo, also known as granito. Father Wim and son Maarten make floors, worktops and custom pieces by hand, and restore antique terrazzo, marble and natural stone, from 1930s homes to churches and listed buildings.

Their work speaks for itself, so the website had to let it do the talking: show the craft, explain every service clearly and make it easy to ask for a visit with colour samples. Visit vanduifhuizenterrazzo.nl

The challenge
Terrazzo is a craft most people only discover when they need it: a cracked floor in an old hallway, a new kitchen or a bathroom renovation. Van Duifhuizen needed a website that explains what terrazzo is, shows the quality of their handmade work and helps people with very different questions, from a new floor to a monument restoration, find the right service.

What we built
We built the Van Duifhuizen Terrazzo website on SitePack with a calm, crafted design that puts the material first. The homepage opens with a large terrazzo floor, explains in a few words what terrazzo and granito are, and leads straight to the services and recent projects.

Every service has its own page: new terrazzo floors, restoration of antique terrazzo, marble and natural stone restoration, terrazzo bathrooms, worktops, monument care and window sills. Each page explains the work and ends with a clear call to action, which helps visitors and search engines alike.

A projects gallery shows floors, worktops, restorations and custom pieces, filterable by type. The About us page tells the story of Wim and Maarten, and the quote page explains the four steps from request to finished floor, with a form that lands directly in SitePack. Visitors can also call or email the right person straight from every page.

What it brought
Van Duifhuizen Terrazzo now has a website that matches the quality of their work. Visitors see the craft before they get in touch, find the service that fits their question, and request a no-obligation visit with colour samples in a few clicks.
