About this project
Leewis Tweewielers has been the bike shop of De Meern, near Utrecht, for almost 20 years. Known for friendly village service, a workshop that repairs any bike, even ones bought elsewhere, and a rating of 9.3 from 424 reviews.
The shop wanted a webshop that shows far more than the shelves in the store: parts, helmets, clothing and accessories from the shop's own system, plus a wide dropship range from the wholesaler, without anyone typing products in by hand.

A local bike shop has two kinds of stock: what hangs in the store and what the wholesaler can deliver. Keeping both in a webshop by hand means double work and a risk of selling something that is not available. At the same time the shop is more than a webshop: customers also come for the workshop, a loan bike during a repair or a bike through their employer.
What we built
We built the Leewis Tweewielers webshop on SitePack with a friendly, clear design that starts with what matters locally: a bike shop in De Meern, always a discount on new bikes, repairs often done within one day and a free loan bike. The homepage leads to bikes, clothing and accessories, shows popular products and a live opening hours bar tells whether the shop is open right now.
Two apps feed the catalogue. The CycleSoftware app, powered by StoreLinkr, links the webshop to the store's own system, so products, prices and store stock follow what the shop already manages. The Pendlr app adds the dropship range from the wholesaler with its own stock, so customers can order items the shop does not keep on the shelf, and the shop never has to type them in.
The rest of the site supports the shop itself: a workshop page for maintenance, flat tires, repairs and key service, a page on bike plans and lease through the employer, and a page about the shop with address, opening hours and a route planner. A newsletter signup keeps customers up to date on new bikes and offers.
What it brought
Leewis Tweewielers now has one webshop that combines the store's own range with the dropship range, and both stay up to date by themselves. The team keeps working in the systems it knows, the webshop follows, and customers can shop online, book their bike in for repair or walk into the shop in De Meern.
