De Beente Bikes & Scooters

The challenge
A bike shop's range changes every day: new models come in, sizes sell out and prices change with the season. Keeping a webshop in line with the store by hand is not doable with hundreds of bikes and scooters, and a customer who comes in for a bike that turns out to be sold is a customer you disappoint.

What we built
We built a new webshop for De Beente on SitePack with a bold design in the shop's own red, yellow and black. The homepage opens with Maastricht and the store itself, and leads straight to e-bikes, bikes, clothing and scooters, this week's deals and the newest arrivals.

The CycleSoftware app, powered by StoreLinkr, links the webshop to the store's own system. Products, prices and stock come straight from CycleSoftware, so the online range always matches what is in the store, without typing anything twice.

Category pages let shoppers filter on new or used, price and gear type, and every product page shows the stock, the price, any deal and the option to pick up at the Molensingel. A live opening hours bar shows whether the store is open right now.

The workshop gets the same attention: a repairs page explains that bike repairs need no appointment, and a scooter repair planner lets customers book a service online. Pages on financing, bike lease and bike insurance answer the questions people have before buying, and the WhatsApp app puts a chat button on every page.

What it brought
De Beente now has a webshop that runs on the same data as the store. The team manages its range in CycleSoftware as it always did, the webshop follows by itself, and online visitors find the right bike or scooter, check that it is in stock and come by for advice, a test ride or to pick it up.
